POSTCARDS
During CREATURE FEATURE's run, KMTV made up a number of Dr. San Guinary postcards to give out as promotional items. The number of them produced is a mystery. Some think that there was one for each year of the show's run. In any case, we have six here thanks to local fans.

Do you have a postcard that isn't represented here? I would like to post it here to share. Send scans of any you may have to webmaster@drsanguinary.com and I will post it here.

Sanguinary postcard #7 1.) This card, donated by long-time fan Jim Williamson, features Dr. San Guinary's autograph on the front. It also features an odd photo of the doctor that looks nothing like any of the cards i have seen up to this point. Thanks for the donation, Jim!

Sanguinary postcard #1 2.) This card seems to have been released soon after Creature Feature hit the airwaves. It appears to have been photographed at a time when Jones didn't have the San Guinary makeup quite right yet.

Sanguinary postcard #2 3.) This second card features the doctor inserting an I.V. into his neck. His makeup is much more in line with how most fans remember him, though he has yet to be hit my a home perm at this point! This photo was used in several of the t.v. commercails for the show.

Sanguinary postcard #3 4.) This was the card I personally wrote into KMTV for when I was a little rugrat! In the background , there is a t.v. screen displaying the studio's logo and if you look REALLY closely to the left, you can see the "Mystery Machine" in which the doctor would occaisionally dispatch guests of the show. I ordered ten copies of this card as a kid, got all of them and somehow I have lost all but two of them.

Sanguinary postcard #4 5.) Released in 1974-75, the doctor's companion Igor finally gets a chance to ham it up with the doctor on a postcard. This is the way San Guinary would look for the remainder of his run, more or less.

Sanguinary postcard #4 6.) Donated by fan Roger Simonsen, this b/w card features a photo of Dr. San Guinary that was also used on the Spookarama poster that I got in my own personal copy of the kit.

Roger: "I believe I got the b/w one at a pancake breakfast in the Food City parking lot at 120th and Center. I remember standing in line waiting for his autograph. My brother must have been with me, too, because I have two copies of this one."

Sanguinary postcard #4 7.) This colorful postcard was also donated by Roger. Thanks again Roger!

Sanguinary postcard #4 8.) This is the back side of the b/w card Roger sent, and is representative of the earlier cards, which had a brief schedule of movies listed.
NOTE: Oddly, though the schedule listed is for CREATURE DOUBLE FEATURE, only one movie is listed for each date. Anyone know why this is?

Sanguinary postcard #4 9.) This is the backside of the color card Roger sent, which is identical to the back side of the Dr. San Guinary card (#4) I personally own.

Sanguinary postcard #4 10.) This is the backside of the card Jim Williamson sent. It features a movie schedule for Creature Feature from 1071. This card is a real beaut, thanks for sending a copy to the Weblab!!
