During the early Eighties, KMTV ran the entire "Sherlock
Holmes" series of movies on Saturday afternoons with Dr. San Guinary
doing the hosting chores. This truly odd combination ran for a short time,
and it seems that most of the bootleg video available to San Guinary Fans
comes from this show (since it aired in the early eighties, a few fans had
access to VCR's).
In this link, San Guinary is looking to hire on an
assistant to help him in some detective work. His first canidate is a
very tall blonde with a very interesting t-shirt.
The doctor all decked out in Sherlock Holmes gear.
The Doctor displaying those obnoxious red slacks.
In this link, Santa Claus answers San Guinary's request
for an assistant and leaves him on his front porch. Unfortunately, the
assistant is a wee too young for the job.
A nice close up of the doctor's "assistant",
who is all decked out with a mini Inverness jacket and Sherlock Holmes
hat. Anyone out there have any idea who the baby was in these two stills?
This is a shot of the set for The Sherlock Holmes Theater
show. Not very good because of poor video tape quality. Basically a library
setup, very unlike CREATURE FEATURE's set.
